CEB Engineers’ Union says that their members will not attend emergency electricity breakdowns and repair activities from this afternoon (Jun 06).
The union’s Chairman, Saumya Kumarawadu said the union has decided to intensify their trade union action as a mark of protest to the continuous delay of approving the Long-term Power Generation Plan by the Public Utilities Commission.
They began a work-to-rule campaign from 9th of May.
