The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Union (CEBEU) urges that the request by the CEB to implement the Long Term Generation Plan (LTGP) prepared by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) subsequent to getting rid of the LTGP submitted by the CEB for the period 2018-2037, should be immediately withdrawn.
They stressed that if the plan prepared and approved by the PUCSL is implemented, it will result in a loss of the net present value on the project to the CEB of Rs 155 billion.
